Your in business, you obviously want to make money, you need prospects to do this but you need the right type of prospects. So how are you best going to do this. Well you seriously want to consider blogging. Yes thats right blogging for leads.
Whatever business your in whether its Multi Level Marketing, Network Marketing, traditional sales, you are going to need a steady stream of prospects (leads) to keep your business operating. Leads are the life line of your business, they are your future customers and are of course where the money or profits come from.
So its vital you attract prospects. But here is the thing, particularly if your business involves talking to prospects, you want to be attracting the right type of prospects. Why, because your time is valuable. Its your most precious commodity. So spending your time talking to tyre kickers is costing you money.
When your talking to someone who really has no interest in joining your opportunity or buying your product then your wasting time that could be spent talking to someone who is interested in what you do.
So Why Blogging
When you use a blog and you use it correctly you will be attracting the type of person who is right for your business and right for you. With a blog you have the ability to target your prospects in a way that a website could never do.
Let Me Explain
A blog allows you too be more personal unlike a static website. Your able to build a relationship with your prospect through your blog before you have ever spoken a word to them.
And building this relationship is critical to your success. You see you could have the best product in the world or the best company with the best pay plan and be using the most expensive adverts possible but unless they trust you, they are never going to join you or spend money with you.
So What Should You Do
First thing is to set yourself up with a professional blogging platform such as WordPress.org not the .com version but the .org version. This is free to do but you will need to pay for your own hosting and you will need a bit of knowledge to download the program onto your computer and then be familiar with uploading of any content for your blog via an FTP client. Don’t worry if this all sounds a bit daunting there are ways to make this all a lot easier that I will be happy to explain.
When this is done you configure your blog to a way that matches your business. That is, you choose an appropriate blog theme and then you start adding great content that is relevant to the type of business your in. Remember you want to be attracting prospsects who are interested in what you do or sell so filling your blog with interesting and appropriate information is how to achieve this.
Now What
Once you start filling your blog with attractive content then you need to start telling the world. You need to be putting it out on the net. Its not enough just to have it on your blog hoping that someone is going to see it. Nope, you gotta start marketing it.
Now this is not an article about marketing but as I say and teach on my program, blogs and their content are just perfect for social marketing sites. Sites such as Facebook, Myspace and Ezine article submitters fit in very nicely with what your looking to achieve and thats finding and attracting quality prospects using a blog.
Oh and did I mention Google just loves blogs because of all it fresh and regularly updated content. Google wants to give the user the best experience possible so offering them the most up to date information is its priority and blogs will do this. And you get rewarded for all this by higher search engine ranking, meaning more visibility for you and your business.
